Pulau Pangkor is an island off the coast of Perak in north-west peninsular Malaysia, reached by ferry either from the old jetty or from Marina Island jetty both located in Lumut . It is promoted as a low-key tourist destination by the Malaysian government, but fishing, seafood and other fishing-related products remain major industries.

The Portuguese Fortress

A Famosa means "The Famous" in Portuguese,it was build as a fortress 

by the Portuguese during the imperialism of Malaysia..

This fortress is among the oldest European Architectural remains in Asia..
But now,the Porta de Santiago - a small gate is the only remaining parts of the fortress that is still visible these days.

The logo ANNO 1670 at the arch of the gate is when the Dutch took over the city and drove away Portuguese from Malacca and renovated the building..

From belows image,you can see that only the Porta de Santiago that is still standing making it one of the the oldest yet historical remark in Malaysia !

This tower was know the most tallest building since 1998 to 2004 until it has been beaten by Taipei 101 since then..The PETRONAS TWIN TOWER has became the landmark of Kuala Lumpur for its record !

Its a really high bridge that connects the two towers which is at the 42st and 42nd floor of the Twin Towers...It is also the highest 2 storey bridge in the world..

it acts as a safety precautions when one of the towers had any troubles..

it also prevents the towers from collapsing..
it maybe kinda shaky,but it is safe ,so for those who are scared of heights,try overcome it on the bridge..
it may work :D
